I know times are different these days but, we are all living very different lifestyles right now. Some might feel more overwhelmed than before, where as some might feel less stressed. Whatever your situation may be, you can use these simple tips to re-charge any given day. For me my weekends are still my rest days from work and kids school, soIi appreciate them just as much or even more than I did before.
- Get some Sun! Girl the weather is warming up here in California so enjoy it while it lasts. At morning time, try to enjoy your cup of cafe outdoors! Getting some vitamin D will increase your energy and your mood and get you ready to take on the day.
- Stay still! Enjoy your cafe, tea, water, or breakfast even, doing nothing more than that. Sometimes we sip on coffee while we are doing 10 other things at the same time, then you find yourself heating it up 3 times in the microwave, just to end up drinking a cold coffee instead. Sit down, relax, all the chores will be there when you are done any way, they are not going anywhere.
- Move. Put in a little workout or an outdoor activity. getting your blood and body moving gives you life girl. Life! This can be a simple walk, gardening, a beach day, a volleyball match anything really that can boost up those endorphins, your blood pumping and that heart rate working.
- Hydrate babe! HY-DR-ATE!!!! Help your body out to remove toxins from your body that are negatively impacting it.
- Sleep! you might say, oh its the weekend I can stay up a bit longer tonight since I don’t have to wake up for work or school in the morning, I think you should take advantage to get some more zzz’s in earlier at night and waking up at a good morning time, than going to sleep late and waking up close to noon the next day and losing out on half your day already. (priorities, whatever works for you though babe)
- I know i said 5 in the title, but i think this one is important. Detox from social! Give yourself some ME TIME, SOME FAMILY TIME. My kids love when i drop the phone and play legos or jump on the trampoline with them instead. Swap your scrolling for something more self-enjoyable and something that is going liven you up. Screen time can slump your mood, and you can get caught up for hours, losing precious time just enjoying other peoples lives through a lense, and maybe event starting a comparison game.
